Voices of Resilience
Purpose:
Thank you for your interest in the Voices of Resilience Project. Our goal is to connect stroke and TBI survivors at Shirley Ryan Ability Lab’s inpatient facility with seasoned survivors who share relatable experiences. While every recovery journey is unique, common threads unite us. The early days of therapy can be incredibly overwhelming and isolating. They can also become a great source of hope.
Our Voices of Resilience Project provides an opportunity for experienced survivors to connect with patients and families at the start of their recovery journey. We seek diverse voices, personalities, backgrounds, and experiences from those willing to offer a short message of wisdom, purpose, connection, and hope to share with Shirley Ryan Ability Lab’s clients.
Process:
Seasoned survivors will engage in a personalized Zoom session with Beyond Stillness to create a short message to share with stroke and TBI survivors early in recovery.
